New Changes to Mirukuma Shop

Hello everyone!

I have some new announcements to make about Mirukuma Shop.

In order to better serve everyone, we are streamlining our services to focus mainly on:

1. Closet Child Value Packs.

2. Selling lolita items at our Lace Market Shop (for very reasonable/bargain prices).

3. In-store shopping at Closet Child (for in-stock items only, we no longer offer searching).

I type "we" because there is also a new addition to Mirukuma Shop "staff"! Sakura, a native Japanese friend of mine, will be joining in to help with anything that requires a lot of translation or phone calls to stores, for example. She will also be helping with emails and the like, so you may hear from her soon too!

Thank you everyone! We hope these changes will allow more girls around the world to find their dream items and purchase popular lolita prints and items at discount prices!

Junie Moon

Yesterday I was in Shinjuku and visited MaruiONE. I always love to check out a shop called Junie Moon because they have lots of handmade, unique, and ever-changing products out for sale.

They also always have gorgeous and cute doll displays up! This time it was a collaboration featuring Imai Kira, who is one of my favorite artists.

The dolls were both sooo detailed and beautiful. Junie Moon was also selling large, shimmery printed posters of each illustration and I was extremely tempted to pick up one. Might have to make a return trip soon :P

All I ended up buying was the cute elephant berry phone charm below because it was too cute to pass up!

Creamy Mami Signkai & Goods

Quite awhile ago, back in March, I was able to meet the lead voice actress for the Creamy Mami anime. I didn't really know the anime too well and had only seen a few episodes, but she was so cute and nice and we talked about the anime a bit before she signed a pre-selected piece of paper for me.

Since the signkai (sign meet) I kind of accidentally became a big fan of everything Creamy Mami. After I finished watching all of the episodes, I wished I had bought more things when I had the chance at Shinjuku Maruione.

But, luckily, Maruione's online shop, as well as Lolii's online shop, have both stocked limited supplies of more Creamy Mami goods!

The hand mirror and pearl strap I had seen back in March, but didn't purchase either of them at the time.  So when I saw them both readily in-stock at Lolii's online shop I jumped at the chance!

I've been wanting a new hand mirror for awhile, to replace the W♥C Kumatan one I've had for years and years. The quality is very good and it is super sparkly~.

Angelic Pretty recently stocked more Creamy Mami collaboration jewelry as well, so if anyone is interested in ordering anything from any of the shops please check out my Japan Shopping Service details~!

And I leave you with some shots of some of the cute things I've eaten recently :D Nana's Green Tea parfait and the famous caramel Tokyo Banana (both are so delicious!) ♥

Imai Kira tights

I've been a big fan of Imai Kira ever since she first designed for Angelic Pretty back in the day. Luckily, her popularity in Japan is still going strong. Her most recent works include a special pair of tights that are absolutely gorgeous.

I don't buy tights all that often, even though most Grimoire tights taught me endlessly. But I knew I had to get these tights when I saw the pamphlet advertisement for them in Shinjuku!

The design features a lovely print with random items falling down the tights and what looks like ribbon encircling the legs. Imai Kira also has a large poster print of the girl with the moon that I was considering buying, and so now I get to wear it instead ;)

A picture from the website showing the tights in person. Mine are expected to be delivered around mid-April. So excited! I ordered a signed copy of her new art book as well, and was going to RSVP to her fan meet but then realized it was in Nagoya. Maybe next time~!

Rolianne pink made

One of my favorite stores to waste spend time in is Rolianne pink made in Shinjuku's Marui One. It is always full of the cutest and sweetest charms, jewelry, accessories, and bags!

Just recently I finally bought a bracelet that I had been eyeing since last year. It's always so hard for me to decide on what I want there, because everything is so cute, but I picked up this cute bracelet since it's very spring time colors~

Looks like gumdrop candy! And because White Day was coming soon, they included a cute little gift baggie filled with random candies and chocolates.

I tried it on with a few of the other spring-ish bracelets I've picked up recently and it matches really well I think. Super happy about my purchase and already planning what I will pick up next ;)

Yummy foods

I take pictures of my food basically all of the time, but never really post it anywhere, so this post will be dedicated to the best of the best. Warning! Do not read if you are hungry ;) Food-pic bomb ahead!

Chesire Cat and Queen of Hearts cheesecake at the Alice Cafe in Shinjuku. The cafe was pretty cute but none of the food was all that good unfortunately! Still, I would recommend going at least once to check out the cuteness :)

Laduree macarons at Shinjuku station. This happened right after Alice Cafe, even though I wasn't hungry at all. But when I saw Laduree I had to try one! Best. Macaron. Ever.

Random shot of yummy warmed-up croissant and hot cocoa from Vie de France. So nice on a cold day!

A friends birthday cake (tart)! It was so cute and tasted amazing!

I do eat non-sweet things sometimes! Kuppa soup from a famous yakiniku restaurant that I-forgot-the-name :P

Special ehomaki roll for setsubun holiday! This one had salmon, tuna, and ume. I ate another even bigger one later that same night with the boyfriend because he works at a sushi place and got a ton for free... and we didn't want to waste them... :P

Aaaamazing crepes from a little cafe in Harajuku. Filled with chocolate or caramel goodness. Seriously. Amazing. My friend ordered the caramel one and said it was the best thing she has ever eaten in probably her whole life. So there you go.

Tart from La Maison. These tarts always look so good taunting me from the little glass display cases, and I finally picked up a piece for me and the boyfriend's four month anniversary. I like to celebrate little things... and any excuse for a tart is fine by me :) It was delicious, of course!

My favorite taiyaki place ever can be found at the south west exit of Yokohama station, and features limited flavors every once and awhile. Right now they have sakura filling and it is amazing. My favorite so far! I wish they would have it forever.

And finally, a little piece of sakura daifuku :) It looked so cute and dainty and I've wanted to try the daifuku at the store I bought it from for awhile. The shop lady was so sweet and even offered me matcha tea while we talked. And the daifuku was delicious!
